“I had to teach myself most of what I know,” Manuel shares. “It wasn’t conventional, but it was personal and meaningful.”
He filed his first tax return in 2013, and just a year later, officially launched his business. By 2015, he became an IRS-authorized Electronic Return Originator. In 2017, he expanded his reach beyond Colorado, assisting clients in multiple states as his knowledge and client base grew.

“I had to rebuild myself from the inside,” he says. “Writing and reflecting became my way forward. The biggest win was learning to fully accept the person I saw in the mirror.”
